McGOWAN, Senior Circuit Judge:

This appeal from the District Court involves the scope of a waiver of the statute of limitations contained in a stipulated dismissal of a tort action.

The suit arose out of the crash of a small airplane in Guatemala. The original action was brought against the respective manufacturers of the plane and its engine by the widow of the plane’s pilot, and sought damages for his death.
