This was an action to try title, and also that the title of the plaintiff, Byrne, might be quieted and established, against the pretended grant, or title, of defendants. The boundaries of the tract claimed by plaintiff are specifical*393ly set forth, and the entry and ouster by defendants ; and the plaintiff avers, that, as color for their wrongful acts, the defendants set up and claim under a pretended, spurious, and invalid title, alleged to have been made by a certain supposed officer of the State of Coahuila and Texas, to the said Anastacia Riojas, as a colonist in the colony…
