Albert, J. —

W. E. Grogan had been the subdirector in District No. 3 in Summitt Township, O’Brien County, for some years previous. He was re-elected, and was sworn in and took his office for a new term at the meeting of the board on the second day of July, 1923.

The plaintiff, Edith A. Hoffa, a married woman, had taught in Grogan’s district for two or more years preceding the time in controversy.
