This was an action in the nature of replevin, brought by the respondent against appellant to recover the possession of certain furniture and carpets described in the complaint. The complaint alleged that the respondent was the absolute owner of the goods in question, which was denied by the appellant. A verdict was rendered in favor of the respondent, on which judgment was entered and from which an appeal was taken.
