FERREN, Associate Judge:

A jury found appellant, Joseph D. Mun-dine, guilty of a prison breach (escape) in violation of D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2601. Appellant contends that (1) the Superior Court did not have jurisdiction because the escape did not take place in the District of Columbia and, in the alternative, (2) the trial court erred in not submitting to the jury the question whether the offense took place here. We affirm.
