Defendant was convicted of trafficking in cocaine and he appealed. Via four assignments of error, he challenges the trial court’s denial of his motion to suppress evidence.

The evidence adduced at the motion to suppress hearing, viewed in favor of the State, is summarized as follows: In the early morning hours of November 4,1986, Georgia State Trooper Ralston observed a 1986 Thunderbird with an Illinois license plate heading northbound on Interstate 75.
