The appellant, Harold Brunson, was convicted of possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, and possession of more than one ounce of marijuana. On appeal, he contends that the trial court erred in admitting evidence of a prior similar transaction.
On September 11, 1991, while executing an arrest warrant on the appellant for simple battery, two DeKalb County deputy sheriffs observed what appeared to be cocaine and marijuana on a coffee table in the living room of the appellant’s residence.
