HAWKINS, Judge.

— Appellant was indicted for assault with intent to murder one Long. He was convicted of an aggravated 'assault and his punishment assessed at a fine of one thousand dollars and nine months imprisonment in the county jail.

A great many questions are raised by the record, only two of which we think it necessary to discuss. Appellant had been suspected of illegally handling intoxicating liquor and we gather from the record that his house had been searched more than once.
