On November 5, 1898, the claimant Mary Augusta Lewis filed a claim against tbe executors of Samuel Lewis for tbe sum of $4,786, with interest.
*80On November 16, 1898, tbe executors served upon Mary Augusta Lewis, personally, and upon Messrs. Goodrich, Whitney & Hagen, her attorneys, the following written notice:
