MARCUS, Circuit Judge:
Darrell Williams, a federal prisoner proceeding pro se, appeals the denial of his 28 U.S.C. § 2255 motion to vacate, set aside, or correct his sentence, in which he asserted that the sentence-appeal waiver in his plea agreement did not preclude him from contesting his counsel’s effectiveness relating to his sentencing.
