The appellant in this criminal case received a suspended imposition of sentence on July 1,1981. On August 4, 1986, he was convicted on a separate charge and sentenced to eight years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. On the same day, a revocation hearing based on the latter conviction was held, and a ten-year sentence was imposed. In Green v. State, 21 Ark. App. 80, 729 S.W.2d 17 (1987), we affirmed the appellant’s conviction which resulted in the eight-year sentence but we reversed the revocation of the suspended imposition of sentence on the ground that the…
