The plaintiff, J. G. McGraw, obtained a verdict and judgment against the defendant, Aetna Insurance Company, on a fire insurance policy, for $1500.00.
To the declaration (in statutory form) defendant plead the general issue and filed specifications of defense, stating, among other matters, that the plaintiff was not the sole and unconditional owner of the insured property, as required by the policy of insurance.
