The indictment charges that an election was held in the City of Corpus Christi at voting precinct No. 2 for the purpose of electing a mayor and four commissioners of the City of Corpus Christi, and that appellant was a judge of the election, and while acting as such he unlawfully and wilfully made a false canvass of the votes cast at the election in said precinct No. 2, in this: "that the said S.D.
