A Montgomery County grand jury indicted Nancy Lillian Worley, the former Secretary of State of Alabama,1 with five felony violations of § 17 — 1—7(b), Ala.Code 1975, and five misdemeanor violations of § 17 — 1—7(c), Ala.Code 1975. Worley filed a motion to dismiss the indictment, and the trial court dismissed the felony charges.
