This appeal is the latest round in a long-running dispute, previously submitted to arbitration in Switzerland, arising out of a contract to salvage “slop oil” generated by the operations of Nigeria’s state-owned oil company. Plaintiffs-appellants — a Texas oil company, its subsidiary, and its principals — appeal the district court’s dismissal of their complaint against the Nigerian company and various associated individuals.
