This matter comes before the Court on the motions of the Director of Insurance for the State of Illinois, Commissioner of Insurance for the State of Indiana and the Superintendent of Insurance for the State of Ohio (Regulators) to dismiss the petition filed by Maxicare Health Plans of the Midwest, Inc. (Maxicare Midwest), for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. Group Health Association of America filed an amicus curiae brief in support of the motions.
