On September 18, 1962, Ruth Reynolds, on behalf of Pedro Albizu Campos, filed in this Court a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in which she alleged that Albizu was restrained of his liberty under the custody of defendant Gerardo Delgado, Warden of the Commonwealth Penitentiary of Puerto Rico.
