The plaintiff appeals from the denial of his motion for new trial following a verdict in favor of the defendant in a suit to recover for personal injuries received in an automobile collision. The plaintiff contended at trial that the defendant negligently caused the collision by *324following too closely. The defendant contended that the proximate cause of the collision was the plaintiffs negligence in failing to give a proper turn signal and in stopping suddenly on the road.
