Moss, Chief Justice:

Harold Raymond Tuckness, the appellant herein, was indicted by the grand jury of Greenville County at the 1970 September Term of the Court of General Sessions and charged with (1) assault with intent to ravish, and (2) assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. The indictment charged that the crimes took place in Greenville County ón September 3, 1970.
