W. C. Adams sues tbe Cumberland Inn Company to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by bim upon these facts:
Tbe Cumberland Inn Company, a corporation .under tbe laws of Tennessee, was tbe owner of a brick hotel, three stories high, fronting fifty feet upon one of tbe principal streets of tbe city of La Follette, and one hundred feet long, built in 1898, which it bad leased to Mrs. Harmon, who was in possession and personally car*474rying on therein a hotel business.
