Order, Supreme Court, New York County (Alan J. Saks, J.), entered August 15, 1984, which, inter alia, denied the motion of defendant Arthur Andersen & Co. to dismiss the causes of action asserted against it and further severed and stayed those causes of action, unanimously modified, on the law, on the facts and in the exercise of discretion, so as to vacate the severance and stay as to defendant Arthur Andersen & Co. and to dismiss plaintiffs’ claim for punitive damages, and, as modified, affirmed, without costs.
