This is an appeal from a trial court judgment in a bond forfeiture proceeding, denying the surety’s motion for discharge and release.

FACTS

On May 15, 1990, defendant, Marie Arcen-eaux, was charged by bill of information with forgery, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:72. On September 22, 1990, Indiana Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company (Indiana) filed an appearance bond on behalf of defendant.
