This is an application by Henry J. Murer, the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Huntington (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the Superintendent), “for an order for an injunction preventing the Supervisor and the Town Board of the Town of Huntington from imposing an unauthorized tax upon the people of the Town of Huntington, or some of them, and directing the Supervisor and the Town Board to make such changes in the Town budget as will restore the improper taxes to the taxpayers of the Town of Huntington, and remove them from the Highway…
