On September 19, 1972, defendant *260pled guilty to uttering and publishing a false, forged, altered, or counterfeited order for the payment of money, contrary to MCLA 750.249; MSA 28.446, in the Circuit Court of the County of St. Clair. On October 18, 1972, defendant was sentenced to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 14 years in prison. The record reveals the defendant was in a tavern drinking all day.
