Joe Louis Spencer appeals the circuit court’s denial of his motion for reconsideration of his sentence filed pursuant to § 13A-5-9.1, Ala. Code 1975. In his certificate of service to the district attorney, Spencer stated that the motion for reconsideration was being mailed on March 6, 2014. The motion, however, was not received and filed by the Escambia Circuit Clerk’s office until March 23, 2015.
