This is an original proceeding in certiorari, commenced in this court, by which the relator seeks to have quashed an opinion of the St. Louis Court of Appeals in the case of Hazel Bankhead v. First National Bank in St. Louis, 137 S.W.2d 594. The original action was for damages for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff in said cause on November 26, 1935, when she slipped and fell while descending a stairway in the banking house of defendant, First National Bank in St. Louis, Missouri. A verdict was returned in favor of plaintiff for the sum of $3,000, and judgment was entered thereon.…
