THORNBERRY, Circuit Judge:

This case is on direct appeal from the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Appellant Roy William Odom was convicted by the district court after a bench trial of conspiracy to import into the United States (21 U.S.C. § 963) and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute (21 U.S.C. § 846) approximately 6,000 pounds of marijuana.
