The plaintiff has appealed from an order sustaining a.demurrer to the amended complaint and dismissing *226the action. The complaint is of too great length to be set forth in full, but in substance it alleges that, at the time the appellant sustained the injuries of which he complains, he was an able-bodied man in the employ of respondent as a head timber faller; that he had been in its employ for a period of eleven months; that during that time the respondent had an established rule governing its employees by which it exacted and withheld from their wages the sum of one dollar per month, which…
