By section 1 of article 6 of the constitution, above quoted, the §2 assessment, not to exceed §5,000, “shall he paid t.o the beneficiary named in the certificate of such deceased member, or to his heirs or legal representatives,” etc. Under the section quoted from the bylaws, the directors are to prescribe the form of the application for membership.
