MEMORANDUM DECISION
NICHOL, Chief Judge (Sitting by Designation).
This is an action arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. sections 2000e et seq. Specifically, plaintiff alleges a violation of 42 U.S.C. section 2000e-2(a). 1 She alleges that defendant denied her a promotion to the position of secretary to the Arkansas Division Superintendent of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company because of her sex.
