Esperanza Rowell filed suit against Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Inc. (“the hospital”) and one of its employees, Doug Patten, M.D. Rowell asserted claims against both defendants for tortious interference with her existing contractual relationship, defamation, violation of the hospital bylaws, and violation of a temporary restraining order and/or preliminary injunction, punitive damages, and attorney fees.
