In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Silber, J.), dated October 31, 2013, which granted the plaintiffs motion for summary judgment on the issue of liability.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.

The defendant Edward W. Sanders (hereinafter the defendant-driver) was pulling out of a parking lot and entering a roadway when the vehicle he was operating struck the passenger-side door of a vehicle that the plaintiff was operating on the roadway.
