delivered the opinion of the court:

Chester Randal Rushing, the defendant, was regional sales manager of Dryvit System, Inc., the plaintiff. In consideration for continued employment he signed an agreement not to compete with Dryvit nor disclose confidential information at the conclusion of his employment. Dryvit brought this action, contending that after leaving its employment Rushing violated the agreement. Dryvit sought to enjoin Rushing based on the terms of the agreement, along with other relief.
