Plaintiff recovered a verdict and judgment for personal injuries sustained by him under the following circumstances: Defendants were the owners and occupants of a factory property lying on the northerly side of Eighteenth sireet, in Weehawken. The factory occupied the entire width of tlieir lot. Adjoining it, upon the east, was a piece of land owned by the township of Weehawken, upon which was a building designed to be used for the purposes of a pumping station.
