This case revolves around a search warrant that authorized officers to search the Wood County residence of John Edward Hill 1 for methamphetamine. 2 The warrant was issued based on a single affidavit 3 that named none of the various informants and did not recite that any of the unnamed informants had provided reliable information in the past. 4 The affidavit did, however, provide a number of allegations suggesting that the drug might be found in the residence.
