BRECKENRIDGE, Presiding Judge.

Following a jury trial, Terry L. Newson was convicted of murder in the first degree, § 565.020.1, RSMo 1994, 1 assault in the first degree, § 565.050, and two counts of armed criminal action, § 571.015, for which he was sentenced respectively to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole and to three consecutive terms of life imprisonment. He appeals the convictions. Mr. Newson also challenges the denial of his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief following an eviden-tiary hearing.
