I. INTRODUCTION
This matter comes before the Court 2 pursuant to a complaint filed by the Plaintiff, Carlotta Jones (“Jones”), on May 2, 1997. Jones seeks judicial review under 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) of the decision of the Defendant, Kenneth S. Apfel, Commissioner of Social Security (“the Commissioner”), denying Jones’s application for supplemental security income (“SSI”).
