Reversing.

At about 7 p. m. on the lOtb of January, 1937, John Houston, a man about 50 years of age, in a jealous rage stabbed to death Lucy Williams, aged about 42 years, in her room in the rear of a hotel in Middlesboro, Ky. He was charged by indictment with murder and was further charged in that indictment with having been convicted of malicious cutting and wounding in the Hopkins circuit court on the 2d day of October, 1909; with having been convicted of murder on the 2d day of April, 1913, in the Vanderburgh circuit court in the state of Indiana;…
