— The J. R. Watkins Company is a Minnesota corporation, located at Winona. It is engaged in manufacturing and selling medicines, extracts and other articles. It appears that, prior to the date of the contract on which this action was brought, the defendant Denbeigh had been engaged in selling merchandise furnished by the corporation in a certain portion of the state of Washington, on account of which he was indebted .to the corporation in the snm of $2,-217.76..
