HOLLAND, District Judge.

The plaintiff brought suit in assump-sit in this case to recover for professional services as an attorney, together with disbursements made by him in the performance of these services for his employer. ITe testified that he “was employed by them [the insurance company] as counsel to secure a charter in the state of New York for them to write a class of insurance similar to the one granted them by the state of Pennsylvania,” and again he states that “he [Rothensies, the general manager for defendant] solicited him to secure for him a charter in the state of New York' so…
