BALDOCK, Circuit Judge.
The law firm of Pachulski, Stang, Ziehl, & Young, P.C. (hereinafter “PSZ&Y” or “the law firm”), special counsel to Tom H. Connolly, trustee for the estate of Donald Albrecht, appeals from an order of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel (BAP) for the Tenth Circuit. The BAP affirmed the bankruptcy court’s August 2, 1999 order denying PSZ&Y’s interim application for attorney fees and expenses and its concomitant request for approval of a fee stipulation between the law firm and the office of the United States Trustee.
