This case illustrates that the Texas Citizens Participation Act (TCPA),1 as written—and as the Texas Judiciary, therefore, is bound to apply it—can potentially be invoked successfully to defend against claims seeking to remedy alleged misappropriation or misuse of a business’s trade secrets or confidential information.
