This appeal involves the conservatorship of an elderly widow. Both the widow’s brother-in-law and a niece filed petitions in the Chancery Court for Montgomery County requesting to be appointed her conservator. Following a bench trial, the trial court determined that the widow was “competent” and, therefore, dismissed both conservatorship petitions.
