This matter is before the Court on the Petition for Voluntary Discipline filed by Deborah K. Rice in which she admits violating Rule 8.4 (a) (2) (lawyer shall not be convicted of a felony) of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct, Bar Rule 4-102 (d) and requests either a two-year suspension or that the Court accept the voluntary surrender of her license. On November 23, 2009 Rice pled guilty to and was convicted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania of three felonies: two counts of violating 18 USC § 1341 (mail fraud) and one count of violating 18…
