L. W. Watts presents a petition for an order instructing the receiver to pay out of moneys in his hands the petitioner’s judgment for damages against the Northern Pacific Railroad Company. The judgment is based upon the negligent act of the company in killing stock belonging to the petitioner while operating its road, about two months prior to the date when the road went into the hands of receivers.
