Two judgments on verdicts directed for defendants are brought up by separate writs of error. One is in the case of Louis C. Hartdorn v. The Webb Manufacturing Company, and ihe other judgment is in the case of William H. Badeliff against the same company. The writs of errors in both cases were argued together.

Both actions were for malicious prosecution. They were tried together, and upon the trial there were directions oE verdicts for the defendants.
