The defendant was convicted, the court of general sessions of the city and county of Nework, of a misdemeanor under the 2d section of the act to pre*218vent the procurement of abortion, passed on the 13th of May, 1845. Various exceptions were taken by her counsel to the decisions of the court on the trial, and they are included in the bill which has been returned to us with the writ of error.
