The defendant appeals from his conviction, after a trial to the jury, of possession of marijuana with intent to sell in violation of General Statutes § 21a-277 (b).1 The defendant was also charged with *280possession of marijuana in violation of General Statutes § 21a-279 (c),2 and was acquitted of that charge.
