HAMLIN, Justice.
This is an appeal from judgments of the trial court holding a statutory will (confected under LSA-R.S. 9:2442, 1 Act 66 of 1952, and executed before George O’Dowd, attorney-at-law and notary) and an olographic will of Mrs. Marie Hebert Thibodeaux to be null, void, and of no effect.
Marie H. Thibodeaux, widow of Clarence E. Thibodeaux, died on April 10, 1955. Shortly thereafter, Esmae Sinitiere, a niece, petitioned the district court for the probate of the decedent’s last will and testament, a statutory instrument dated February 23, 1955. 2 She alleged that she had been…
