The issue in this case is whether the Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law (735 ILCS 5/15 — 1101 et seq. (West 2004)) permits a circuit court to vacate a judicial sale at the mortgagee’s request where the mortgagor has succeeded in finding her own buyer for the subject property, with the mortgagee’s approval, after the statutory-redemption period has expired but before the judicial sale has been confirmed.
